Certainly, after so many editions, we can say that Romanians have a strong passion for the auto industry. With each edition, we have grown and evolved thanks to your support, turning this event into a tradition for enthusiasts and professionals in the automotive field. Brief History of the Bucharest Auto Show & Accessories

As a brief history, the first four editions of the Bucharest Auto Show and Accessories were organised between 1993 – 1996. The success of these editions in terms of the brands present as well as the influx of visitors (120,000 visitors in 1996) led to the inclusion of SAB & Accessories in the international calendar of OICA, the only international body that can provide such an endorsement, through the sustained efforts of APIA.

From 1997, sequentially, once every two years, the Salon was present, under the organisation of APIA until 2007 inclusive, in the prestigious international OICA calendar, being classified as such, the International Auto Salon Bucharest. The year 2011 marked the return of SAB & Accessories in a national edition, in the location already known to all enthusiasts of this field, Romaero Băneasa.

Therefore, from the first exhibition in 1993, we have evolved in step with the dynamics of the current innovative and economic context, offering a comprehensive platform where exhibiting companies connect directly with the visiting public.

The Bucharest Auto Show & Accessories represents a real support for the recovery of the auto industry, maximising sales, and strengthening presence in the Romanian auto market, being the main meeting and interaction point for professionals in the automotive field.
